Yuke DIY started with a simple frustration: most paint by numbers kits look fine in the listing photo and disappointing on the wall. The canvas is thin, the paint is watery, and the numbered outlines are printed so faintly that you spend more time squinting than painting.
So we set our own minimums. 280gsm cotton canvas, not the 180gsm most sellers use. Thirty-six colours, pre-mixed and thick enough to cover in one pass. Outlines printed dark enough to read under a lamp. And frames that are actually square, because nothing ruins a finished painting faster than a frame with a visible gap at one corner.
Where the artwork comes from
Every design is licensed from an independent illustrator, then colour-separated into numbered sections by our studio. We do not sell AI-generated artwork or repurposed stock images. If you want to know the source of a specific design, email us and we will send you the licence details.
How we ship
Everything ships from our own studio, not from a warehouse we have never visited. That means we can check a kit before it leaves, and it also means we are honest about timing: most orders take 10 to 15 days to arrive, and we would rather tell you that up front than surprise you later.
What we are not
We are not the cheapest kit on the internet, and we are not trying to be. If you want a five dollar kit for a rainy afternoon, there are plenty of options. If you want something you will still have on your wall in three years, that is who we build for.
